The Melbourne Project
Melbourne is such a diverse, complex and incredibly beautiful city which I am very fortunate to call my home.
This ‘ode to Melbourne’ series of images evolved as a personal project captured on a few rare days off, in which I set out to document the city as I live and appreciate it through a sequence of architectural details. Wandering the streets with a telephoto lens I found myself stopping to look up at buildings that I had thought to be familiar, and yet with proper inspection revealed beautiful features and details which had previously escaped my notice. Since this was solely a personal project, I also indulged my guilty pleasure of producing a few partially coloured black and white images, alongside a number of long exposure shots.
The collection of images will soon be available as a coffee table book.
